Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am new here. Through checking early messages on a topic I'm in, I started seeing mentions of "Vola". From the context, it seems like another forum like this but google wasn't showing anything.

What was it? Is it still active/around? Are there many different ones based on different topics?

It was an anonymous file sharing platform (a bit like discord but you didn’t need to join). You created a room (the most popular were called cancer, and I think a Biden one…?), and the files were up for a few days.

However, platform got shut down some time ago. I think it was a mix of the costs/time to manage and some people were posting illegal stuff there.
