No, there are many other species of apes that are omnivores, so that isn’t the reason we are as intelligent as we are. It’s well known that a vegetarian diet is at least as good for you as an omnivorous one, but if you choose not to listen I guess that’s your choice. Just don’t let your personal biases overtake reason.
Also, another plus of a vegetarian diet is that no animals are killed. There is no downside to that so don’t try to force one unless you somehow enjoy the fact that sentient creatures are killed so you can eat them.
My body wont love me for being deficient in protein, vitamin d, b12 and omega 3s. Yes I can get those things in supplements, but the fact that I have to take those supplements in the first place should tell you that humans arent designed to be vegetarians.
